Fieldwork 2026-10-29 to 2026-11-03 · 1044 respondents · online
Eligible New Zealand voters aged 18+, surveyed online. The original national party-vote chart is labelled likely voters; the exact valid party-vote respondent count is not supplied.. Original public The Post commissioner release by Andrea Vance, 6 November 2026, rechecked in the browser without a paid report or sign-in. Its national likely-voter chart explicitly reports all eight party shares, including Other 1.0%; the complete published vector totals 100.0%. Other is observed in that chart, not an inferred residual. Gross n=1044 eligible New Zealand voters aged 18+, interviewed online 29 October–3 November 2026; weighting is representative of New Zealand voters and the release quotes approximately ±3% sampling error. The complete party-choice table is treated as conditional party support under the existing transformation. The owner confirms continuation of Freshwater’s October methodology: include leaners, remove remaining undecideds, then apply its likely-voter filter. That continuity is owner-confirmed and corroborated by the October public workbook; it is not represented as independently confirmed November technical documentation. The public article does not report an exact valid party-vote base, undecided percentage, non-voter percentage or detailed weighting targets. These remain unknown; the October base of 1209 and September base of 806 are not reused or scaled. The frozen pipeline consequently uses its existing approximate gross-base sample proxy before its unchanged design-effect and non-sampling-error treatment. Unknown exclusions can overstate that sample proxy. This is a national poll, distinct from the earlier October Freshwater survey and other pollsters’ overlapping fieldwork. Availability is conservatively the present verification/ingestion time.

Fieldwork 2026-10-09 to 2026-10-19 · 1458 respondents · online
New Zealand adults aged 18+ invited through online panels. National party support is filtered to valid likely voters (8–10), after including leaners and removing remaining undecided responses.. Original public Freshwater Strategy data workbook for The Post. The uploaded workbook is byte-identical to the pollster’s public file (SHA-256 ffbf11156ec8b4d4e24dc9e5789ad1c3a24fb736090e489d5b2881781f151251). Exact fieldwork 2026-10-09 to 2026-10-19. Gross n=1458; the national party-vote table explicitly reports an unweighted valid likely-voter base of 1209, which is retained as sampleSizeDecided. Weighted bases are not substituted for respondent counts. Online panel invitations; weighting targets age-sex, education, region and 2023 general-election vote. Methodology A9 includes leaning responses, removes remaining undecided responses, then filters likely voters (8–10). Separate undecided and non-voter percentages are not supplied and remain null; no such figures are inferred from the difference between gross and valid bases. Results preserve the underlying numeric proportions in the national Total column, converted to percentages, rather than subgroup figures or counts. Display rounding does not imply that fractional survey weights are raw respondent counts. The table explicitly supplies all eight categories including Other; no residual is inferred. The official pollster release page is dated 21 October. Earlier commissioner reporting may have occurred on 20 October; this record conservatively uses the verified pollster release date and preserves one survey identity by fieldwork. Earlier-starting fieldwork excludes this survey from the v13 prospective cohort. Availability is conservatively the present verified ingestion time; no earlier knowledge of the detailed table is assumed.

Gross n=1011; the national party-vote table explicitly reports an unweighted valid likely-voter base of 806, which is retained as sampleSizeDecided. Weighted bases are not substituted for respondent counts. Online panel invitations; weighting targets age-sex, education, region and 2023 general-election vote. Methodology A9 includes leaning responses, removes remaining undecided responses, then filters likely voters (8–10). Results preserve the underlying numeric proportions in the national Total column, converted to percentages, rather than subgroup figures or counts. Display rounding does not imply that fractional survey weights are raw respondent counts. All seven named-party values are provided. Other is absent from this table; deriveOther explicitly completes the 2.093050387749% unreported-party remainder under the existing decided-composition rule. This remainder is derived, not a separately observed Other result. Earlier-starting fieldwork excludes this survey from the v13 prospective cohort. Availability is conservatively the present verified ingestion time; no earlier knowledge of the detailed table is assumed.
